 Two years ago tTwo summers ago VAL was invited to create on a 300 ft wide concrete wall in a wooded section  fronting the Country Swim Club Property on Dutch Rd. East Brunswick. This page is the latest update to the unfolding story. Jill Ferguson's FUR brick has been invited to be included in The Book of Hope and World Healing. Also, Dima Yakovina's design for the Pipe Dreams show is taking off in the same direction, joining the fish!

Three years ago we reproduced a poem written by Birgitta, 8 ft tall and 4 ft wide on a black board. This poem accompanied the Hubcap show when it appeared at the University of Medicine and Dentistry-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and then again when it went to Quietude Sculpture Gardens, Fern Rd. East Brunswick, NJ.

Five years ago the Ocean show began with 37 artists from all over the country and local areas, and it rolls on!  all the way to Iceland!

Together we write the book and illustrate the pages, without even realizing it!

Cities without Borders

The cities of the world
are merging
borders falling
cultures crossing

Through the void
of cyberspace
the earth is shrinking
the sense for distance changing

One race
emerging
floating through space
virtually real
I feel home
in every corner of the world

Expressions
through sympols
we all can understand
art is the language
the word still a virus
from outer space

Colors, forms, sounds, shapes
interwoven
in interspace

cities without borders
earth without borders
us without borders

a birth of the creative
from the wild woman
the sacred warrior
the seed of unity
