While building an artistic foundation and tapping his
creativity, Jabie studied under acclaimed artists and teachers,
Grace Latora of Maryland; Lee Newman at the Washington Studio
School; Peggy Parker and Priscilla Treacy at the Art League of
Virginia and P. Rumburger at the Capital Hill Art Workshop. After
relocating to North Brunswick, N.J. he continued his studies at the
Mason Gross School of the Visual Arts at Rutgers University.
