"THE HUB" & "MAGNETIC CONNECTIONS"

Sunday, August 8-August 29 1999

Quietude Garden Gallery and the Visual Arts League are co-sponsoring a dual show at the Quietude Garden Gallery.

A sixty foot long wall of painted and mixed media hubcaps from contributors all over the United States line the perimeter of Quietude Garden Gallery. Quietude is known for its eclectic display of original sculpture. This contemporary art form serves as a counter-point to the unique sculpture.

Another 100 loot long wall with laminated automobile magnets mounted on refrigerator doors will greet visitors. Major portions of the magnetic pieces are the result of a contest where everybody won.

These two shows were last seen at the Cork Gallery. Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center, New York.

Also showing on the grounds is the show, "Men of Stone & Steel" as well as sculpture by 115 sculptors.
