Trains by Paul Robeson School students, at the Cork Gallery, Lincoln Center, NY (The Story Continues...)

A Close up Frames Page of the Trains August 11-23, 2005. Freda Rhodes Class. Two years ago Freda's classes created 2 dimensional trains for the 100 year birthday celebration of the New Brunswick Train Station. those trains stayed in place at the long hallway for 5 months. Finally everything came down and the trains went home with the students. Then came a surprise invitation: a call more more trains! More trains came and these went to be included in the first train show last year at the Cork Gallery and they are attached to the long mural.

A second invitation came from Lincoln Center..bring the trains again..encore!!  and this time the students at Paul Robeson School had lots of advance preparation time and were able to create 3 dimensional trains as can be seen here in the image.
