Mark Nerys, from Somerset, NJ, (16 yr) Reproducing a giant Tortoise originally by Little Bob Duncan. This piece has had allot of people involved in its evolution. Fast signs gave us the vinyl, a long, long strip. Edith Chevalier sewed it and made it into a 10' X 12' working surface. In fact, she told us a little story.

The morning we called moaning about our wonderfully long piece of vinyl, Edith had been out loud talking to her old sewing machine..the heavy duty Singer variety, saying to it "Give me one good reason I should keep you!" and the phone rang! We are aiding and abetting strong works to leap from portfolios into real life..with Edith and then Mark's help ..the Giant Tortoise is now the Visiting Tortoise..ready to roam.
